Invited Talks and Interviews
August 2025: At the Digital Health Research Series hosted by the Women’s Health Research Institute and BC Children’s Research Institute in Canada, I presented my application of machine learning to develop a predictive model for pain-related quality of life after endometriosis surgery, and the subsequent presentation of the Endometriosis Pain Index as an online calculator using R Shiny (Timestamp at 40:35). I shared the platform with other experts in machine learning, digital health, and artificial intelligence, Dr. John-Jose Nunez (MD) and Michael Li.
August 2022: The WomensResearch Podcast on Spotify featured a discussion of my journey into women’s health research, including progress updates since receiving the BC Graduate Award in Women’s Health Research the previous year (2021).
Workshops
October 2025: At the 2025 Arthritis Research Canada Trainee Day, themed around the advancement of AI in health research, I delivered a workshop titled “AI Prompting for Success,” which focused on using large language models and prompt engineering to enhance trainee development in graduate research.
